What kind of wood do you use for decks?
We build with pressure-treated southern yellow pine. For posts and framing that touch the ground or concrete, we use ground-contact-rated lumber so it won’t rot out from under you.
Do you stain and seal the deck?
Yes — a professional stain finish is included on every build. Plan to re-stain every couple of years to keep it looking good and lasting long.
How long will a pressure-treated deck last?
A well-built, maintained pressure-treated deck will easily give you 15–20+ years. Proper footings, framing, and stain make the difference.
How long does it take to build a deck?
Most family-sized decks take a few days to about a week once we start, depending on size and the yard.
Can you attach the deck to my house?
Yes. We use a properly flashed ledger board so the deck is solid and water stays out.
Can I ask about Rent-to-Own for a custom deck?
Yes. Rent-to-Own options are available on qualifying deck projects. Terms, approval requirements, and payment amounts are determined by the provider.
Will you remove my old deck?
Yes, tear-out and haul-off can be included in your quote with the cost explained up front.
